A modern classic from the Cerrado

Bruzzi is one of the flagship coffees in the Daterra Classics line, produced on the Fazenda Boa Vista farm, part of the Daterra Coffee project. We're in the Cerrado Mineiro, one of the first areas in Brazil to obtain the Denomination of Origin for coffee, thanks to stable climate conditions and an advanced agricultural model.

The Acaia and Mundo Novo varieties grow at 1,150 meters above sea level, on mineral, well-drained soils. The combination of a dry microclimate and selective harvesting allows for uniform and controlled ripening. The result is a well-structured cup, with rounded sweetness, a full structure, and an acidic component that adds momentum and definition.

Two processes, one identity

Bruzzi is processed using two distinct methods: some of the cherries are left to dry directly on the trees , a traditional technique in the region that intensifies the fruit's sugar concentration. The remainder is removed from the pulp and left to dry using the pulped (semi-washed) method, for a cleaner and more organized profile.

This combination produces a complex yet harmonious cup, where the fruity richness is balanced with structure and definition.
