A coffee that tells the story of the light of the Thai forest
In the mountainous heart of Chiang Mai, where the tropical forest merges with small farming villages, the Hom Hoh Coffee project was born: a cooperative made up of 14 families and led by Manop, a key figure in the local community.
On approximately 40 hectares of agroforestry, coffee grows in harmony with mango, banana, native trees, and wild plants. This biodiverse environment allows the plants to develop without forcing, offering a precise and transparent aromatic profile.
The washed method: cleanliness, precision and freshness
The cherries are handpicked, carefully selected, and immediately processed using the washed method. After fermentation in water, the berries are washed and slowly dried on raised beds under controlled conditions.
This process, carefully monitored by the cooperative, allows for a clear and vibrant cup, where every note finds its space.
A community that cultivates quality and respect
Hom Hoh is much more than a farm: it is an agricultural project that focuses on sustainability, transparency, and the valorization of local resources.
Manop, along with the other farmers, works with a regenerative approach, caring for the land and ensuring dignity and autonomy for those who cultivate it.
Agroforestry is not just a production choice, but a philosophy: cultivating without dominating, preserving instead of consuming.
Cleanliness, freshness, harmony
Thailand: Hom Hoh Lavato is a simple and refined coffee, designed for those who love clean and complex cups.
In the cup, it opens with notes of green tea and lemon zest , followed by dark chocolate and molasses , with a delicately spicy finish.
A balanced structure, bright acidity, and a clean sweetness that evolves as it cools.
