In the heart of the Sidama region, in the Bombe district, at over 2,000 metres above sea level, Messier Washed is born: a high-altitude coffee grown by the Dukamo family on their historic Shantawene estate.
This unique terroir, characterized by a cool microclimate and nutrient-rich soils, offers the ideal conditions for developing rich and defined sensory profiles.
Made from the heirloom varieties 74110 and 74158, and processed using the washed method and aerobic fermentation, this coffee offers an organoleptic profile of extraordinary elegance.
The first notes reveal the juicy sweetness of yellow peach and honey , followed by floral hints of violet and green tea .
The sip closes with intense hints of blueberry and blackcurrant , for a dynamic, balanced and persistent cup.

The washed process with aerobic fermentation is one of the most refined for enhancing cleanliness and brilliance in the cup.
After manual selection of the ripe cherries, the berries are fermented and carefully washed, then slowly dried on raised beds.
