In the cup

It opens with ripe berries, blackberry and strawberry, followed by cherry and purple grape. Lavender adds floral elegance, while chocolate and citronella bring depth and freshness. Medium, juicy body, well-integrated citric acidity, long finish.

The story

Abu Coffee farms in Cañas Verdes, on the slopes of Volcán Barú. For this lot, whole cherries are first pre-dried in the sun for about 120 hours, then ferment for 72 hours in sealed GrainPro bags submerged in spring water, rehydrated with must from previous Gesha lots. Finally they dry on raised beds for about 30 days.

Competition-grade freshness

Every Over Your Limits coffee is stored green, vacuum-sealed and frozen, the same technique used for competition coffees, and we roast it only when you order. The cold stops the green bean from ageing and protects its sugars, acidity and aromas, so every lot reaches your cup with the same profile as the day we first tasted it, even months after harvest.

Why Over Your Limits

Because it takes the natural process further, with a two-phase method that always stays clean and controlled.
